He's out!!
Ken is out of surgery. Surgeon said it went very well, he removed all visible signs of tumor. They did not do any pathology in the O.R., he feels that it is a grade 3 tumor...but will await the actual pathology report. Ken did great throughout the surgery, has come out of the Anesthesia, but is somewhat agitated...I asked if he's taken a swing at anyone yet, and he said no...phew! I should be able to see him within the hour. Dr. Gutin did remark "he's one big - ass guy!". LMAO!

AMEN! sister! here's to a speedy recovery and while he is still out of it, this is the time for you to ask for the cruise in the Med- the trip Australia- or the pony for the kids, hahahaha

ReplyDeleteWe are so glad the surgery went well and it is all over with! We hope that the next few days for him will be the best that they can be. Let him know his BFF asked for him a few times today. I'm sure that will put a smile on his face. Also, you mentioned the drs noted he was "somewhat agitated" and "he is one big - ass guy." For now, we'll leave those statements alone but when he's fully recovered anything goes! We love you Kenny!!!! Make sure he gets his favorite socks :)
Had to laugh at that .... but in all seriousness... we are really glad that went well today. Lots of prayers for a speedy recovery and please let us know if there is anything that you need. hugs to all ..... here's to a speedy recovery !!!
ReplyDeleteJen, please tell Ken that I am thinking of him and so glad surgery went well. I expect that he will be back causing trouble very soon. Maybe there is magic in those shorts he wears even in the most frigid weather :0) Give him my best regards.
